FAQs

So, you’re looking to get a home inspection, the first question that probably comes to mind is “How much does it cost?”
Answer: That’s not the right question to be asking at this time. You are not buying an inspection; you are investing in an inspector. You are purchasing individual knowledge, experience, communication and technical skills.

How much does my property list for?
This is the second question you should ask yourself. In other words, what am I paying for this house, and what is the benefit of paying a few extra dollars for a quality home inspection?
Answer: To realize the importance of getting a home inspection is to understand the significance of knowing exactly what you are spending your hard earned money on and protecting that investment by ensuring all of your questions are answered by a highly experienced, professional, knowledgeable, unbiased third party. A home inspection is no place to cut financial corners. Homes are the most expensive thing most of us have ever, or will ever, purchase.

What are my qualifications?
Answer: Over the years I have performed thousands of detailed inspections. I have a technical bachelors degree and have worked as an engineer for two major corporations. I have over 20 years of knowledge in the remodeling business, which enables me to understand the cause and effects of home building practices.

The reality of the situation is that you need an inspection.
You need to know if there is anything wrong with the house you are spending hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars on, and how much the repairs will cost, and if the home is in as good of shape as it looks because looks can be deceiving. My inspection of your new home will give you the answers to these questions and more. Your satisfaction is guaranteed or your money back. Give us a call and experience a quality home inspection, piece of mind, and a professional in your corner.

A home inspection will provide you…the buyer, an impartial evaluation of the overall condition of the home and the items that need to be repaired or replaced. The inspection report gives you an easy to read detailed summary on the condition of the structural components, exterior, roofing, plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning, insulation, and ventilation interiors. A home buyer should be an informed buyer.

Canyon State Property Inspections will give you the required information you need to make an informed decision by providing you with a comprehensive fully-narrative report detailing all the specifics of the home (Sample Full Report). We include digital photos of defects where appropriate and encourage you to be on-site during the inspection so that we can fully explain and show our findings to you first hand.

In addition, Canyon State Property Inspections knows that the process of buying a home means meeting many deadlines and that your time is important. These are items that need to be repaired, replaced or evaluated by qualified professionals, prior to the close of escrow and also a list of normal maintenance items. Or, in the case of a New Home Warranty, presented to a builder/developer as a repairs list.

We provide both of these reports to you on-site, at the time of the inspection, they can be mailed to you at any location or, if you prefer electronic format, we can email the report to you or you may download the report from are WEB SITE via the Internet.
